Development and Operations Project Manager

Meranda Lane brings over 15 years of healthcare operations and strategic project management experience to her role as Development and Operations Project Manager at Wellness Equity Alliance. With a deep background in both clinical and administrative systems, she leads initiatives that drive operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and cross-functional collaboration across public health programs in California and New Mexico.

Before joining WEA, Meranda held multiple leadership roles at Pediatrix Medical Group, where she oversaw regional operations for women’s and children’s specialty practices across more than 20 states. She has led the launch of over 10 new programs in under a year, mentored over 50 clinical and administrative leaders, and implemented hundreds of cross-functional process improvements—significantly increasing program performance, employee engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction.

At WEA, Meranda manages complex, multi-stakeholder projects spanning operational optimization, federal funding opportunities, and policy infrastructure. She approaches her work with a systems thinking mindset and a collaborative leadership style, helping bring clarity and steadiness to fast-paced, mission-driven settings.

Meranda holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from George Mason University and completed her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with Google. She was also a frequent guest speaker, previously presenting at George Mason University on healthcare front office fundamentals.
