Alana Vass

Marketing and Communications Manager

As the Marketing and Communications Manager at Wellness Equity Alliance, Alana brings more than a decade of experience leading marketing strategy, branding, and multi-channel communications for dynamic, purpose driven teams. Her background spans startups, high-growth organizations, and non-profits in healthcare including early intervention health screening diagnostics, public health, telemedicine, and mental health services.

Alana is passionate about increasing access to equity-based healthcare and wellness, especially for marginalized individuals and communities facing socioeconomic, identity-based, or geographic barriers to care.

She is driven by WEA’s innovative public health vision and strengthens WEA’s ability to reach more people and communities, meeting them where they are with quality healthcare, dignity, compassion, and continuity of support.

Alana has a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. Her outside interests include photography, creative writing, natural horsemanship, and hiking.
