About WEA

WEA is a national alliance of population & public health leaders committed to transforming public health care interventions by tailoring them to historically marginalized communities. 

Our models are designed to break down access barriers for communities affected by the social determinants of health. Both urban and rural populations need innovative service delivery models to improve healthcare access and optimize associated outcomes.

We partner with the following sectors to work as extensions of public health systems, either as direct operators or advisors providing strategic planning and technical assistance.

• associated government agencies,

• hospitals and health centers

• community-based organizations (CBOs) 

WEA also focuses on reimagining population health - including systems analyses with a laser focus on behavioral health (substance use disorders). WEA meets patients where they are.

Before our work with WEA, we were part of a team of clinical and operations experts that built and carried out a nationwide mass COVID-19 vaccination operation. Our team administered over 2 million vaccines in 10 states, focusing on equity and community partnership.
